The FA today announced the neutral venues for the Women’s Cup semi-finals.
Everton, the only team from outside the WSL1 left in the competition, will play their tie against Notts County at the home of their male counterparts, Goodison Park, on Sunday 3 May.
Chelsea, who knocked out holders Arsenal in the last round, will play Manchester City at Wycombe’s Adams Park on Monday 4 May.
Adams Park’s capacity is a measly 10,284 compared to Goodison’s 40,000-seat stadium. However the competitions semi-finals last year – held at Woking’s Kingfield Stadium and Alfreton’s Impact Arena – only attracted a combined attendance of 1,515.
Everton captain Michelle Hinnigan is hoping this year the crowds will be much bigger.
“It’s always been a dream of ours to play at Goodison Park, but none of the current team have had a chance to play competitively there.
“We hope the occasion will bring us lots of support and allow us to show the Blues’ fans how much the quality of women’s football has improved.”
The final of this season’s FA Cup on August 1 will be held at Wembley for the first time in the competition’s history.
