Millwall Lionesses visit local rivals London Bees on Wednesday night after their unbeaten run in the WSL 2 was ended by top of the table Reading over the weekend.
In contrast the Bees have yet to win a match this campaign and sit dead last in the table.
Their latest defeat came against Aston Villa in a 90 minutes which saw them take the lead and go in to the break ahead, before conceding two goals in the second half.
But positivity is key when form is lacking and Bees midfielder Andria Georgiou believes her side can go out and play with nothing to lose.
“I’m excited for the Millwall game,” she told the club’s official website, “We are definitely a better team than we were last year and have improved a lot.”
“Even though we are not winning, the way we have been playing from the back to the middle of the pitch, for example, is so much better.
That’s why we have so much belief in ourselves, we know we are getting better. If we keep going we will get a win, we all believe that.”
This week’s clash at the Hive is the last fixture for both sides before the six-week break for the World Cup, and a win for Millwall could see them sit as high as fourth until the league resumes again in July.
