FA Cup winners Chelsea Ladies will face Glasgow City in the last 32 of the Women’s Champions League.
Emma Hayes’ side are making their Champions League debut this season and face a side who made it to the quarter-finals last year.
Hayes told ChelseaFC.com: “We’re fairly happy with the draw.
“It’s a situation that means we don’t have to travel too far when we still have a big domestic programme to contend with and the fact that it’s a derby between an English and a Scottish club will be exciting for the supporters.”
Immediately after the draw several Chelsea players tweeted their delight of an all British tie, including new signing Fran Kirby.
“Big draw!! Glasgow City in the round of 32 in the @UWCL
exciting times!

Elsewhere reining FA WSL 1 champions Liverpool Ladies face Italian side, Brescia.
Matt Beard’s players will be hoping to beat the Italian outfit to progress past the last 32, something they failed to do last season.
With both Chelsea and Liverpool being from the same association, they couldn’t have been drawn against each other at this stage.
The first legs will be played on 7-8 October whilst the return fixtures will take place on 14-15 October.
