The road to Manchester begins this weekend for WSL1 clubs as the Continental Tyres Cup reaches the second round.
The attraction of the day is undoubtedly at The Hive where supporters can enjoy an incredible double header as London Bee’s host Chelsea before Reading host Arsenal in a WSL double header,
There’s also a Merseyside derby to look forward to as Everton host Liverpool at Widnes.
Those looking for a cup upset might look no further than at Sutton Coldfield Town where Aston Villa host a Manchester City side who are winless in two.
Finally, the Saturday evening kick off see’s Sheffield host Bristol City which ensures at least one WSL2 side will reach the third round.
On Sunday two sides in need of a victory meet at Keepmoat Stadium as Doncaster Rovers welcome Sunderland. It’s a big afternoon for Doncaster who’ve recently installed Emma Coates as manager as well as making several high profile signings in the week. They host a Sunderland side who will be looking to bounce back from their 5-0 mid-week thrashing at home to Chelsea.
The final two games on Sunday see Oxford United host Birmingham City at Abingdon and Yeovil Town v Notts County at Huish Park.
